1. What have you done
since graduating from Christian Life Academy?
“I currently attend UCI in
Southern California and am working on getting a mechanical engineering
degree.”
2. How has attending
Christian Life Academy impacted what you’re doing?
“Atending CLA helped me gain
the knowledge required for college and to acquire the wisdom for living
for Christ away from home.”
3. What do you miss
about Christian Life Academy?
“I miss most the amazing
flexibility and the teachers that genuinely care.”
4. What’s your favorite
Christian Life Academy memory?
“Using 'the force' (Sean) to
throw a soccer ball at Mike in the Romeo and Juliet play.”
5. What advice would you
give to other students?
“Learn as much as you can
while you can. Fortunately, you can do this at CLA and still have
fun doing it.”

1. What have you done
since graduating from Christian Life Academy?
“I worked at Leatherby’s and
attended school at Sierra College.”
2. How has attending
Christian Life Academy impacted what you’re doing?
“I’ve studied harder. I
made the Dean’s List one semester at Sierra College.”
3. What do you miss
about Christian Life Academy?
“I miss the teachers and all
the students. I’m bummed that the pizza hot lunch didn’t start until
after I graduated!”
4. What’s your favorite
Christian Life Academy memory?
“My favorite memories are
the field trips, the movies we went to see as a class, the Bible Study,
and whenever we went to Mr. and Mrs. Gubitz’s house. Especially when we
were studying Geography and were able to try all the different foods from
around the globe.”
5. What advice would you
give to other students?
“Work hard, do your best in
everything you do. And enjoy high school while you can!”
Spencer Thomas
Martinez (2005 Graduate)
1. What have you done
since graduating from Christian Life Academy?
“I have gone under a radical
transformation under God. For about 3 months I worked in Alta Sierra at a
car body shop. I worked there to pay for an internship at the Roseville
House of Prayer. It is a 6 month internship.”
2. How has attending
Christian Life Academy impacted what you’re doing?
“Honestly, this school, what
I’ve learned, has changed my entire character and who I am in the 4 years
I’ve attended here. It’s changed me more than I can say.”
3. What do you miss
about Christian Life Academy?
“I miss the structure of
Christian Life Academy. I miss the quality and ease of learning. Right
now, I don’t have anyone telling me what to do and when. I basically get
up and do whatever I want.”
4. What’s your favorite
Christian Life Academy memory?
“My favorite memory is the
2005 ping-pong tournament. It’s a lame one, but was really fun.” (He has
better memories, but he can’t make a decision.)
5. What advice would you
give to other students?
“My advice would be, try to
want to learn. You can learn a whole lot at this school. And if you
don’t want to learn, ask God to help you want to learn.”
