Jennifer Dutcher (2011 Graduate)

1.  What are your plans when you graduate from Christian Life Academy?
” I plan to attend William Jessup’s teaching program to focus on Kindergarten.  Yet, God is in control and I will follow His lead.”

2.  How has attending Christian Life Academy impacted what you’re doing?
“I have grown spiritually, and I am free to be more open with people.”

3.  What will you miss about Christian Life Academy?
“I will miss the close relationships and the teachers.”

4.  What’s your favorite Christian Life Academy memory?
“Planning and performing our Yearly Plays was a treat and gave me never to be forgotten joys.  Also Dillon Beach 2010 was amazing because we all were so close.”

5.  What advice would you give to other students?
“Use your time wisely here, soaking up God’s Word and don’t procrastinate on getting your assignments and studying completed. Don’t take the shortcuts.”

Kart DeShaw (2011 Graduate)

1.  What are your plans upon graduating from Christian Life Academy?
“Music is my passion.  Music is a clear call from God and I am looking forward to any avenue and direction God sends me.”

2.  How has attending Christian Life Academy impacted what you’re doing?
“The environment was stable and that foundation enabled me to explore God’s will for me.”

3.  What will you miss about Christian Life Academy?
“The teaching staff is like family, and home, and that’s been a blessing.”

4.  What’s your favorite Christian Life Academy memory?
“Gunner and the other students made the experience amazing and all of the field trips kept us laughing and close.”

5.  What advice would you give to other students?
“Trust in God always.”

Sheree Dwyer (2011 Graduate)

1.  What will you do upon graduating from Christian Life Academy?
“I plan to attend Sierra College to take classes on educating children.”

2.  How has attending Christian Life Academy impacted what you’re doing?
“I have grown a lot spiritually, socially and academically since arriving here in my sophomore year.”

3.  What will you miss about Christian Life Academy?
“The other students and the relaxed learning environment.”

4.  What’s your favorite Christian Life Academy memory?
“Performing in,and managing the lighting for, our own plays.”

5.  What advice would you give to other students?
“Get your work done and make Godly choices.”

 

Kevin Gubitz (2005 Graduate)

1.  What have you done since graduating from Christian Life Academy?
“I currently attend UCI in Southern California and am working on getting a mechanical engineering degree.”

2.  How has attending Christian Life Academy impacted what you’re doing?
“Attending CLA helped me gain the knowledge required for college and to acquire the wisdom for living for Christ away from home.”

3.  What do you miss about Christian Life Academy?
“I miss most the amazing flexibility and the teachers that genuinely care.”

4.  What’s your favorite Christian Life Academy memory?
“Using ‘the force’ (Sean) to throw a soccer ball at Mike in the Romeo and Juliet play.”

5.  What advice would you give to other students?
“Learn as much as you can while you can.  Fortunately, you can do this at CLA and still have fun doing it.”

Amanda Tatiana Bravo (2005 Graduate)

1.  What have you done since graduating from Christian Life Academy?
“I worked at Leatherby’s and attended school at Sierra College.”

2.  How has attending Christian Life Academy impacted what you’re doing?
“I’ve studied harder.  I made the Dean’s List one semester at Sierra College.”

3.  What do you miss about Christian Life Academy?
“I miss the teachers and all the students.  I’m bummed that the pizza hot lunch didn’t start until after I graduated!”

4.  What’s your favorite Christian Life Academy memory?
“My favorite memories are the field trips, the movies we went to see as a class, the Bible Study, and whenever we went to Mr. and Mrs. Gubitz’s house.  Especially when we were studying Geography and were able to try all the different foods from around the globe.”

5.  What advice would you give to other students?
“Work hard, do your best in everything you do.  And enjoy high school while you can!”

Spencer Thomas Martinez (2005 Graduate)

1.  What have you done since graduating from Christian Life Academy?
“I have gone under a radical transformation under God.  For about 3 months I worked in Alta Sierra at a car body shop.  I worked there to pay for an internship at the Roseville House of Prayer.  It is a 6 month internship.”

2.  How has attending Christian Life Academy impacted what you’re doing?
“Honestly, this school, what I’ve learned, has changed my entire character and who I am in the 4 years I’ve attended here.  It’s changed me more than I can say.”

3.  What do you miss about Christian Life Academy?
“I miss the structure of Christian Life Academy.  I miss the quality and ease of learning.  Right now, I don’t have anyone telling me what to do and when.  I basically get up and do whatever I want.”

4.  What’s your favorite Christian Life Academy memory?
“My favorite memory is the 2005 ping-pong tournament.  It’s a lame one, but was really fun.”  (He has better memories, but he can’t make a decision.)

5.  What advice would you give to other students?
“My advice would be, try to want to learn.  You can learn a whole lot at this school.  And if you don’t want to learn, ask God to help you want to learn.”
